Ben Gibson

Ben is a competitive slalom kayaker, trail runner and mountain bike rider, who was part of Merrell's GODZone race team in April 2014.

Ben left his home of the Lake District in England to seek new adventures in New Zealand’s wilderness, in the process kayaking extreme white water and ticking off some of the country's highest peaks.

He's climbed some of NZ’s highest peaks including Mt Sefton via its North West ridge which included a 2000m free climb accent on rock and ice. He's completed the St James Alpine adventure race and placed 6th and in February 2014 completed the iconic New Zealand Coast to Coast multisport event.
