How Hiking Can Change Your Life

Hiking… Walking on trails that are single track but sometimes are fire roads, trails that are steep and technical but sometimes flat and easy, trails that wind through mountains and trees or sometimes on exposed desert or flatland or even around a lake in a well-maintained city park. Hiking is very loosely defined and can change depending on who you ask but one thing that is not up for contention – Hiking can change your life in a myriad of ways. There are the obvious health benefits (physical and mental) but beyond that hiking can have a significant impact on perspective, appreciation of nature and even your social standing.
